The short version

ConsciouSpace is a counselling, coaching and group-work practice in British Columbia, Canada. This site takes your name and email so we can sign you up for a group and, if you ask, keep you posted about future ones. We don’t sell your information, we don’t run advertising trackers, and payment card details never touch this site. That’s the whole idea — the rest of this page just spells it out.

What we collect

Only what you type in, and only when you choose to:

  • To take a place in a group: your name and email, plus your phone number and your role or discipline if you choose to add them.
  • To join the email-updates list: your name and email.

There are no public accounts and no passwords to create — you don’t sign in to register.

Why we collect it

  • To put you down for the group you chose and confirm your place (or your place on the waitlist).
  • To email you the details for that group.
  • If you asked to be kept posted, to let you know about future groups. You can unsubscribe any time.

We use your information for those things only. We don’t sell it, rent it, or hand it to anyone for their own marketing.

Payments

Payment happens away from this site. Your card number and payment details never pass through it and are never stored on it. The only record kept here is that a payment was made — the amount, the date, and which group it was for.

Where your information is kept

A short list of the services that make this site work:

  • Supabase — a hosted PostgreSQL database where your registration and list details are stored, protected by row-level security.
  • Resend — sends the transactional emails (your confirmation or waitlist note, and a notice to Logen that you registered).

Cookies and tracking

This site does not use advertising or analytics trackers, and it does not set tracking cookies. If you visit to register or join the list, nothing is stored on your device to follow you. (The only local storage this site uses is a sign-in session in Logen’s own browser, so the practice owner stays signed in to the private dashboard — that doesn’t apply to you as a visitor.)

Your rights

Canadian privacy law — PIPEDA federally, and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) provincially — gives you the right to:

  • ask what personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct anything that’s wrong;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • unsubscribe from the updates list at any time.

To do any of these, email consciouspaceforyou@gmail.com and we’ll take care of it.

How long we keep it

We keep your registration details for as long as we need them for your group and our records, and your list details until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. Tell us you’d like your information deleted and we’ll remove it.
